Typically, we tend to include level designers, which MegaSphere with Mr. X were for this project, according to the credits. I'll leave it to you to bring them back if you believe you've made a mistake. I'll shuffle tags back around to keep up with semi-established tag sorting scheme. The new description is nice and succinct.

Also, there's a file called STATIK.mp3, which technically do amounts for the respective tag.

Full mapping credits are tricky, because they are in flux, and not completely static.

  • The latest build of the game lists 27 unique mappers on current versions of maps, and at least 3 more that are still visible in the chapter credits, for older versions of maps not in the game anymore. There may be even more that aren't as obvious.
  • Credits also retroactively update names: “DoomThroughDoom”. “dtdsphere”, “MegaSphere”, and “Peter Lawrence” are all aliases of one person that changed over time, as an example.

That's a lot of moving parts to keep track of over 15 years, and a nightmare to maintain long term as the game continues to see updates. If it's permissible, keeping the page as evergreen as possible by trimming it down to just Mike and the MM8BDM team he leads seems like a good option to sidestep it.

Only the mapcount and screenshots would need to change as they come in with new versions.

Understood. Current tag system is rudimentary at best, which by itself brings extra shortcomings. At times I thought of gutting some of the name lists, for biggest mods in particular, but that probably should be talked over at the discussion board in proper. If you have any site suggestions, then do bring them there.

Perhaps what this page does need is tag to help tracking progress on things updated. Also, sorry for such late reply.
